Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?

Yup. That’s right. Wills and Kate are comin’ over!
I just heard from a friend that they are coming to California, on July 8th to be exact and I just know they are going to want to come party with us me. So I’m going to set a place at the table just in case, you know… they want to get away from it all and just hang, with a completely normal, not royal-wedding obsessed nice person.
Actually, I have no idea what we will talk about when they come, now that the wedding’s over and all.
Maybe they could bring their wedding album.
Not the “official” photos. Been there – done that. But how about they share some of the pics that took place at Buckingham Palace, at that intimate party that lasted until 3am? I heard Harry couldn’t wait to get Pippa on the dance floor.
Would love to know William’s take on his brother’s no holds barred best-man speech. Lots of balding jokes apparently.
And the dresses, the music, the guests. Yea, we could talk about those moments…
I love to do Party Assessment (PA). It’s one of my ALL-TIME favorite post-party activities. Relive the small details in the decor, the delicious food, the highlights of a good party. I’m guessing Kate would be pretty good at PA too.
Also, if they felt like sharing, we could talk about possible honeymoon destinations. My money’s still on Mustique…. although if they are flying ALL the way over here it’s more likely that they are going to vacation somewhere like Fiji. I’m assuming California is some kind of layover.
Man, this is starting to feel like an episode of Carmen Sandiego.
But then I might also ask them what they thought of some of their guests.
Like c’mon, Kate, ahem sorry, I mean Catherine, you MUST have opinion on the hats worn by your new cousins, Beatrice and Eugenie. I’d love to hear how a princess gracefully comments on those!

I’m excited they are coming to California but I’m not exactly sure why.
I mean, I pulled an all-nighter to watch them get married, I even woke up my 5 year-old to watch it with me. But will I line the streets to see in California? Probably not.
They are of course invited to dinner. Any time.
It will be a blast.

Should we do a PA on the F/D dance? ;0) Funny, they are going to be “here” pretty much exactly while we are there. Guess I won’t be seeing them in either place!
