– Yay for going with the Avon walk. Boo for it being July 7-8. We have an annual vacation planned that week. I was wanted to walk with the Maidens this year. You know I’m in for WHATEVER support you need!! And I saw your reply to your other commenter – YES we’ll all walk together one day! Hopefully 2012!

July now for the walk…. Roxy will be 3 months. I might have to wait until next year to join you again. I even looked to see if there was one in Michigan, but the closest is Chicago. Maybe I can recruit the Michigan Mooradian girls to do an extension of Maidens and walk Chicago in June? I really think we should try and get everyone together next year to do it! Wishing I could snap my fingers to be there and join you in July, but it just will be a little too much too soon. :(

Interesting that you, too, had issues with SGK. I tried for several years to create various programs organizing vendors in the quilting industry for support. My experience with SGK was the stuff of movies… horror movies. I vowed to support the cause on my own but never to give SGK a penny or a minute of my time ever again. This public bubble was no ‘accident’ or gaff but a true expression of who they have become…

And the cause is one we must all support… Glad you made a change in your support… Hope it is more rewarding for you..
